Hamster Kombat Token Listing: What You Need to Know
During the last listing of DOGS tokens, the TON blockchain started to lag due to high traffic. As a result, users lost money because of price fluctuations. This experience demonstrated that an unprepared user can lose their funds if they don't know how to sell tokens properly. In this section, I will answer all questions regarding the Hamster listing.
I'll explain how to avoid mistakes and how to sell an airdrop profitably.
🟣 How Not to Lose Money on a Listing?

About the Authors:
My name is Vladislav, and I am the founder of the crypto asset analysis platform, holder.io. I've been studying DeFi since 2017 and have participated in airdrops like Notcoin, Dogs, and Onchain, with a total profit of $9,000.

How the Hamster Listing Will Proceed
To avoid losing money during the Hamster Kombat listing, you need to understand how the team will distribute the airdrop to users.
An airdrop is a method of distributing tokens to users for free.
In the case of the Hamster listing, the airdrop distribution process will resemble the scenarios with DOGS and Notcoin:
- Users will be offered several methods to receive tokens. I'll describe the methods first and then mention which one I will use.
► Through Exchanges (Recommended): The user selects an exchange, registers there (if they don’t have an account yet), and provides the deposit address for Hamster Kombat. After that, the tokens are credited to the user’s account, and they can sell them as soon as they become available for trading. I'll suggest which exchange to choose below.
► Through a Telegram Wallet (NOT Recommended): The user selects the option to receive tokens in a Telegram wallet, where they can immediately exchange them for other cryptocurrencies, sell them on the P2P market, or transfer them to other users.
► Through a Non-Custodial Wallet (NOT Recommended): The user provides the address of their non-custodial wallet to receive the tokens. It’s important that the user has cryptocurrency to cover transaction fees (e.g., Toncoin). Once the tokens are credited to the wallet, the user can sell or hold them.
⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐
What Will I Choose? I sell all my airdrops on cryptocurrency exchanges. This is because transactions are completed faster and the exchange rate is better. I’ve detailed this in a previous post. Read it, you won’t regret it.
⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐ - Token Confirmation and Receipt: After providing all the necessary details, the user confirms the token withdrawal and waits for them to be credited to the specified address.
- Waiting for the Listing and Selling: Tokens may not be available for trading immediately, but rather after a certain date, such as the listing date on the exchange. After this, the user can sell them or buy new tokens.
Summary of the First Part: To sell the Hamster Kombat airdrop profitably during the listing, it’s best to use cryptocurrency exchanges.
Next, let’s discuss where the listing will take place and which exchanges to use for selling Hamster tokens (HMSTR).
Where the Hamster Kombat Listing Exchanges
As I mentioned earlier, I prefer using cryptocurrency exchanges to sell tokens rather than selling them through a Telegram wallet. First, it's more profitable, and second, it reduces the risk of losing money due to blockchain lag, as happened with the DOGS airdrop.
During the Hamster Kombat token listing, cryptocurrency exchanges will compete to attract new users. It's in their interest to offer sellers the best rate.
The best rate and the speed of sale depend on the liquidity available on the cryptocurrency exchange.
Such exchanges include:
These are popular cryptocurrency exchanges where the Hamster listing has been confirmed. To sell at a higher price, you should sell earlier than others. To do this, register in advance.
All announcements have been officially verified. According to Coingecko, all these exchanges have confirmed reserve pools. Therefore, there should be no issues with selling the HMSTR token.
When Will Hamster Be Listed
An official announcement was recently published by the Hamster Kombat development team.
You can find the official statement from the team here: t.me/hamster_kombat/342.
Summary: The official listing date for the Hamster token is September 26, 2024. Players who have been developing their cryptocurrency exchanges in the Telegram bot since May 2024 will be able to sell their tokens. Where is the best place to sell your tokens? I have described it in this section.
Should You Sell the Hamster Airdrop?
Now, let's discuss possible scenarios for price movement after the Hamster listing. Based on my experience with the Notcoin and DOGS airdrops, it was not advisable to sell the tokens prematurely.
I broadcast my airdrop activities here:
Example of Notcoin's price on TradingView:
As seen, the value of the Notcoin token increased significantly 10 days after its listing on exchanges.
There is no guarantee that the Hamster token will follow a similar pattern and fully realize its potential a week after trading begins.
I recommend following this strategy: At the start of trading, assess the total value of your Hamster airdrop and make a decision on selling based on that assessment.
I set a psychological threshold for myself at $1,000. If the total value of the airdrop is less than $1,000, I sell a portion and hold the rest for the long term.
This strategy allowed me to sell part of my Notcoin airdrop at a price higher than its initial listing price.
What Will Happen with the Hamster Token?
According to official data, Hamster Kombat has over 50 million players. For a Telegram project, this is a record-breaking number.
Typically, a token’s value depends on the market's expectations. The fewer sellers, the higher the price will go. To reduce the number of sellers, the team will likely announce plans and additional platform features to attract new buyers and retain sellers.
However, there will still likely be more sellers. Based on this, I am inclined to sell the tokens after the listing.

This price estimate is not financial advice and may be adjusted based on changes in the tokenomics of Hamster Kombat.
You can purchase HMSTR tokens before the official listing on pre-market platforms. For example, Bybit.com offers this option.
Pre-Market is a stage where tokens (or stocks) are sold before their official launch on the main exchange. During the pre-market phase, investors have the opportunity to buy tokens at a special price before they start trading publicly.
To buy HMSTR tokens during the pre-market:
- Register on a Pre-Market Platform:
- Create an account on a platform like Bybit.com that offers HMSTR tokens in the pre-market phase.
- Complete KYC Verification:
- Complete any required Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to enable trading.
- Deposit Funds:
- Deposit funds into your account using available methods such as bank transfer, credit card, or cryptocurrency deposit.
- Participate in the Pre-Market Sale:
- Once your account is funded, navigate to the pre-market or launchpad section of the platform and purchase HMSTR tokens at the offered price.
- Wait for the Official Listing:
- After purchasing, hold your tokens until they are officially listed on the main exchange, at which point you can trade them or hold for potential appreciation.
How a Deal with the HMSTR Token Happens in Pre-Market:
Pre-market in cryptocurrency refers to trading tokens before their official listing on an exchange.
The exchange collects bids from buyers and sellers, setting a price for buying and selling tokens. Sellers and buyers place a deposit in real money to ensure the deal goes through.
For example, Alex wants to sell 1 HMSTR for $1, and Nick wants to buy 1 HMSTR for $1. The exchange locks the funds until trading begins. If Nick doesn't buy, the money goes to Alex. If Alex doesn't sell, the money returns to Nick.
This guarantees the token will be officially listed and allows for testing the interest in it.
