American Express Launches Ethereum-Based Travel Stamps on Coinbase’s Base

American Express has launched Ethereum-based travel stamps in its revamped travel app.
These stamps are ERC 721 tokens, minted on Coinbase’s Base network, but aren't tradable NFTs.
Colin Marlowe, VP at Amex Digital Labs, clarified that the tokens aren't designed as blockchain-based loyalty points.
The aim is to enrich the travel experience rather than generate short-term revenue.
The travel app also offers other travel tools and Centurion Lounge upgrades.
