Birdeye Launches Mobile App for Solana and EVM Chains

Birdeye, a trading data aggregation platform, has launched a mobile version supporting Solana, Sui, and EVM chains. The app allows users to track trades, price changes, and trending tokens. It features a swap interface powered by Jupiter, although swaps are initially limited to Android due to Apple’s in-app transaction policy.

The mobile app aims to increase Birdeye's revenue through swap fees and its paid subscription service. In an environment with numerous new Solana tokens launched daily, data aggregation platforms like Birdeye have established some market fit, competing with other platforms like DEX Screener.

Marketing manager Lan Boi Vu emphasized that Birdeye was built from scratch, distinguishing it from DEX Screener's mobile offering. A key feature of the app is its notification system, which alerts users about significant price movements or trades from specific wallets.

Birdeye generates revenue from its PRO subscription service starting at $30 per month and expedited updates for token information. It charges a fee of 0.3% or 0.4% on swaps conducted via Jupiter and 1inch. Additionally, Birdeye's data services branch counts notable DeFi projects like Uniswap and Jupiter among its clients.

Birdeye joins other Solana projects, including Jupiter, Cube Exchange, and DRiP, in launching mobile applications. Boi Vu noted that the simultaneous release of multiple apps could enhance connectivity within both the Solana ecosystem and the broader Web3 community.
