Dunleavy compares the current landscape to the 1970s, specifically referencing President Nixon's termination of the Gold Standard in 1971 as a significant economic pivot. He suggests that Bitcoin and altcoins may follow a similar trajectory as gold did after Nixon's decision, which saw prices surge significantly over the following years.
