Bybit Secures UAE Virtual Asset Platform Operator License

- This makes Bybit the first crypto exchange to secure this comprehensive license from the SCA.
- The license allows Bybit to offer regulated virtual asset trading, brokerage, custody, and fiat conversion services across the UAE.
- Bybit plans to expand its presence in the region by establishing a larger operations center in Abu Dhabi with over 500 employees.
- The expansion includes hiring in compliance, operations, customer service, and introducing education and Web3 innovation programs with local partners.
- Bybit previously received In-Principle Approval (IPA) from the SCA in February 2025 and has a Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) license.
- The firm resumed full trading operations in India in September.
