Cheelee and Worldcoin Set to Unlock Over $730 Million in Tokens
A significant wave of token unlocks, valued at over $730 million, is set to impact the crypto market this week. Cheelee (CHEEL) leads cliff-based unlocks, while Worldcoin (WLD) dominates linear schedules.
Cheelee and Other Cliff Unlocks
Cheelee will release 20.81 million CHEEL, valued at $196 million, accounting for 36.63% of its circulating supply. Aptos (APT) follows, unlocking tokens worth $150 million, representing 2.11% of its supply. Other notable cliff-based releases include Cardano (ADA) with 37.06 million tokens worth $43.36 million (0.10% of supply) and SEI, planning to release $55.80 million in tokens. Smaller unlocks include BGB (BGB) at around $14.46 million and AXS (AXS) at around $7.54 million.
Worldcoin Leads Linear Token Unlock
Worldcoin (WLD) plans to release 37.23 million tokens valued at $136.25 million, making up 5.04% of its circulating supply. This positions WLD ahead of Solana (SOL), which plans a smaller release of $121.36 million, impacting just 0.11% of its supply. Other altcoins in the linear unlock category include TIA (TIA) at around $56.95 million and DOGE (DOGE) at around $44.01 million. Avalanche (AVAX) and NEAR (NEAR) have releases valued at $36.59 million and $23.16 million, respectively.
Smaller Projects Make Their Mark
Emerging projects are also participating in this unlock cycle. Sipher (SIPHER) leads with 15.6 million tokens, valued at $2.07 million, representing 1.56% of its locked supply. ChainGPT (CGPT) and Ordify (ORFY) are unlocking significant portions as well. PlayDapp (PDA), with 85.97% unlock progress, prepares to release 8.14 million tokens valued at $505,986, while LayerAI (LAI) rounds out smaller unlocks with 55.91 million tokens worth $1.09 million.
