BULLISH 📈 : CME expands crypto futures with ADA, LINK, XLM contracts

CME Group, the largest derivatives marketplace worldwide, has launched new futures contracts for Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), and Stellar (XLM). These additions went live on February 9, enhancing CME's regulated cryptocurrency offerings.

Expansion Details

  • CME now offers futures for seven major cryptocurrencies.
  • The expanded suite covers over 75% of the total crypto market capitalization.
  • Contracts are cash-settled using CME CF Reference Rates.
  • Available in standard and micro-sized contracts for various market participants.
  • First LINK and XLM trades were executed between FalconX and Marex, while ADA trades were between Cumberland DRW and Wintermute.
