Deribit Introduces Block RFQ Interface for Enhanced OTC Trade Efficiency

Deribit has launched a Block Request-For-Quote (RFQ) interface, enhancing OTC trading efficiency and liquidity for large trades. Key features include:

  • Direct negotiation of block trades without affecting public order books
  • Support for complex trading structures with options, futures, and spot pairs up to 20 legs
  • Higher minimum trade size requirements
  • Multi-maker model enabling multiple liquidity providers to offer partial quotes
  • Integration capability for third-party platforms to access pooled liquidity

The introduction follows Sygnum Bank's expansion of its custody services to include Deribit, which is also reportedly in acquisition discussions with Kraken.
