Etherealize Secures $40 Million to Enhance Ethereum Adoption in Finance

Etherealize has raised $40 million in Series A funding, co-led by Electric Capital and Paradigm. This follows an earlier grant from Vitalik Buterin and the Ethereum Foundation.

The funding will support Etherealize’s development of:

  • Zero-knowledge privacy systems
  • Settlement engines
  • Applications for tokenized fixed-income markets

Co-founder Danny Ryan stated that this initiative begins the "Institutional Merge," modernizing institutional finance.

Etherealize's strategy includes positioning ETH as an institutional reserve asset and engaging in regulatory discussions. Recent developments include BlackRock launching a tokenized money market fund on Ethereum and JPMorgan enhancing its Kinexys platform for asset tokenization and on-chain USD payments.

The goal is to establish Ethereum as a foundational element in institutional markets.
