Hamster Kombat Aims to Re-engage Community Amid User Drop

Hamster Kombat, a Web3 game, is working to re-engage its community and existing users after a significant drop in monthly active users. The game previously reached 300 million users in August 2024 but has since seen a 90% decline, bringing the count down to 30 million. The development team acknowledges fluctuations in interest but remains committed to growth. A spokesperson stated:

“Since our project has seasons, this is expected. We’re currently in the interlude period, preparing to launch the second season. Even during this mid-season phase, our MAU metric remains above 30 million, showing sustained interest.”

The team aims to reconnect with participants from season one and attract new players.

On November 14, Hamster Kombat's native token HMSTR reported a daily spot trading volume of $1.3 billion and $4 billion in perpetual trading volume. The game also reached 11 million token holders. The spokesperson noted:

“We now have over 11 million tokenholders, allowing us to compete with the top blockchains. We plan to increase the number of holders and enter new markets.”

The team maintains a core group of around 30 million engaged players, exceeding the communities of many other projects prior to their airdrops. With future activities planned, Hamster Kombat anticipates further audience growth.

Other Telegram Mini Apps Grow with Hamster Kombat

As Hamster Kombat prepares for a comeback, other Telegram Mini Apps are also gaining popularity. Paws, a rapidly growing Mini App, currently boasts 40.7 million monthly active users (MAUs).

Blum, a hybrid exchange that combines centralized and decentralized features, is emerging as a leading Mini App. It includes a clicker game where users can earn points redeemable for an airdrop token.

Another Mini App on the rise is 'Major', which has 34.9 million MAUs and allows users to complete tasks for cryptocurrency rewards.
