Hamster Kombat Launches Season 2 Beta Testing to Boost HMSTR Token
Hamster Kombat’s price has faced challenges since its listing on multiple exchanges in late September. Users offloaded the token due to unmet expectations, with some expressing frustration over airdrop exchanges. Despite these issues, the team is launching Hamster Kombat Season 2 to enhance user engagement, raising optimism about whether HMSTR #HMSTR could reach $0.01 before the year ends.
The developers have shared more information regarding the Season 2 launch, which has contributed to a slight increase in the token's price.
HamsterVerse Begins with Closed Beta Testing for Season 2
On December 22, Hamster Kombat revealed new details about Season 2. The Telegram-based tap-to-earn game announced that this season will feature three initial games as part of the HamsterVerse entertainment ecosystem. This platform centers around unique characters and stories, with all games utilizing the HMSTR token, potentially increasing its utility. The developers also introduced a Closed Beta testing phase, allowing users an early look at the project. Hamster Kombat announced:
“Season 2 will be more than just a game; it turned out much bigger and stronger than we ourselves initially anticipated. We’ll be kicking off not with one, but three games which will become the foundation of HamsterVerse! HamsterVerse is the entertainment ecosystem we’re building around the characters and storytelling of Hamster Kombat. All of the HamsterVerse games will utilize $HMSTR token on a regular basis.”
The Closed Beta testing includes a Cleam Contest, offering a prize pool of 3,000 USDT to contributors, with prizes distributed randomly based on participation in the beta test.
Will Season 2 Spark a Revival for HMSTR?
Hamster Kombat has experienced a significant drop in user numbers, declining from 300 million in August to 23 million in December, according to Protos. This initiative aims to attract more users and boost trading activity, potentially reversing the token's downward trend. User disinterest has led to extensive token dumping, adversely affecting HMSTR’s performance. A rewarding initiative could rekindle interest, encouraging users to accumulate more tokens and possibly enhancing its value.
Currently, HMSTR's price has increased by 1% in the last 24 hours, with trading volume also rising by about 1%. If the token can maintain this upward trend during the Season 2 beta testing, its price may rise further, especially following the official launch of Season 2.
While negative sentiment persists around Hamster Kombat, the likelihood of HMSTR reaching $0.01 before 2025 remains uncertain. However, with the full launch of Season 2 and the introduction of the HamsterVerse, the token could see improved performance in the upcoming year.
