Latest Memecoin CHILLGUY Reaches $0.65 ATH with 80% Weekly Surge
A new Solana-based memecoin has gained significant attention, surging over 80% in seven days to a market capitalization exceeding $600 million. Following this performance, it has recently secured two major exchange listings.

The recent memecoin surge has seen various tokens experience volatility, including the Celebrity token and the Pump.fun Livestream saga, raising questions about their impact on the market.
Despite criticism, new tokens continue to gain traction. The latest memecoin, just a chill guy (CHILLGUY), experienced an 80% weekly rally, driven by a TikTok meme featuring a relaxed dog. The original artwork by Philip Banks, created in 2023, has gained popularity across social media platforms.
Following the meme's rise, crypto investors launched a token inspired by it. On November 20, CHILLGUY surged 400% to $0.44 within 24 hours. However, it briefly dropped over 30% after Banks announced potential legal action for copyright infringement.
Since then, CHILLGUY has increased around 50%, reaching an all-time high (ATH) of $0.65 after hitting $0.56 earlier. The cryptocurrency reached a market capitalization of $657 million before retracting below $600 million, positioning it as the eighth-largest Solana-based memecoin.
Exchange Listings and Investor Activity
The token's rise is attributed to its viral meme status and endorsements from public figures. El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele shared the meme during a historic BTC price surge, while YouTuber Mr. Beast dubbed it the “biggest meme of our lifetime.”
Major exchanges have listed CHILLGUY, with Bybit adding it to their Spot trading platform on November 26 and Binance introducing perpetual contracts with up to 75x leverage on November 27.
An investor reportedly made over $6 million from CHILLGUY. According to Lookonchain, a trader spent 0.75 SOL (approximately $160) to acquire 12.5 million tokens. Twelve days later, this trader held 9.2 million tokens, realizing a profit of $6.1 million. Some community members speculate that if growth continues, CHILLGUY could surpass other memecoins like dogwifhat (WIF) and Popcat (POPCAT) within a week.
As of now, CHILLGUY trades at $0.59, reflecting a 23.3% increase in the daily timeframe.
