McDonald’s Partners with Doodles for “GM Spread Joy” Campaign

McDonald’s announced a collaboration with Web3 brand Doodles for the “GM Spread Joy” campaign, starting on Nov. 18. McCafe cups will feature Doodles’ rainbow-themed graphics.

Purchasers of any McCafe hot drinks in the US can receive various rewards including access to the pilot episode of Doodle’s animated series Dullsville and the Doodleverse, digital apparel for Doodles avatars, and enamel pins.

Doodle’s digital apparel is usable within Doodles Stoodio, an avatar creation app migrated from the Flow blockchain to Base L2 in July 2024.

Previously, McDonald’s experimented with Web3 branding tools, including limited NFTs for the McRib sandwich's 40th anniversary.
