New Hampshire Ranked Most Crypto-Friendly U.S. State by ASICKey Study

New Hampshire ranks as the top crypto-friendly U.S. state despite high electricity costs and minimal bitcoin mining, scoring 71.22 out of 100 due to:

  • Zero capital gains tax
  • Lack of restrictive regulations
  • High density of crypto businesses (4.4 per 100,000 people)
  • High number of ATMs (9.3 per 100,000 people)

The study by ASICKey evaluated all states on seven factors, focusing on tax policy and business usage. Wyoming follows with a score of 61.89, benefiting from:

  • Highest blockchain job concentration (118.4 per 100,000)
  • Low energy costs
  • Minimal regulation

Nevada, Texas, and Alaska complete the top five, each with unique strengths:

  • Nevada: Strong crypto-accepting business sector
  • Texas: Significant mining presence
  • Alaska: Robust blockchain job market

The findings indicate that favorable tax structures and clear regulations attract infrastructure and job creation in the crypto sector.
