NTU Selects Theta Labs’ EdgeCloud for Enhanced AI Speech Research

Theta Labs has secured Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore as a new academic customer for its EdgeCloud product. NTU's Speech Lab will utilize Theta EdgeCloud's decentralized GPU technology to enhance AI research in speech and language.

Key points include:

  • NTU's focus on multilingual automatic speech recognition (ASR) and noise reduction
  • Theta EdgeCloud's role in improving transcription systems and speech identification
  • Previous partnerships with universities like Seoul National University and Peking University
  • Plans for a Beta launch of Theta EdgeCloud’s hybrid cloud platform in June 2025
  • Expansion of Theta's decentralized network, now exceeding 30,000 nodes globally

Despite a nearly 50% price decline since early December, the trading volume of THETA has increased by over 200%. The price has stabilized around $1.90, which is crucial for potential recovery or further decline.

Current support levels are critical for THETA's direction, with increased trading activity suggesting possible upward movement if conditions improve.
