ONDO Price Surges 15% Amid Rising RWA Tokenized Assets

Ondo Finance and ONDO Token Update

ONDO token increased by 6% on Sept. 12, extending its weekly gain to over 15%. This growth is driven by the rise in tokenized RWA assets on Ondo Finance.
The market capitalization of RWA tokens rose from $67 billion to nearly $76 billion recently. The total value of tokenized assets on-chain surpassed $29 billion for the first time.
Ondo Finance partnered with Trust Wallet to offer tokenized US stocks and ETFs, allowing global users to trade equities like Apple and Tesla on-chain via 1inch.
Total value locked in Ondo Finance grew from $650 million in January to $1.56 billion as of Sept. 12.

ONDO Price Trajectory

Daily trading volume surged to $430 million, with derivatives activity rising significantly: open interest up 14% to $585.74 million and futures trading volume up 67% to $1.38 billion.
ONDO price holds above $1.01 support level, potentially reaching a six-month high of $1.23 or further gains towards $1.40 if resistance is breached.
Technical analysis suggests a potential breakout, with a head-and-shoulders bottom pattern forming, indicating possible 100% upside to $2.10.
