Polygon Launches Agglayer Breakout Program with Airdrops for POL Stakers
Polygon has initiated the Agglayer Breakout Program to support projects in the Agglayer and Polygon proof-of-stake (PoS) ecosystems. Key features include:
- Incubation and community funding for project development
- Successful projects will airdrop 5%-15% of their native token supply to POL stakers
- Hands-on support from Polygon Labs and access to ecosystem resources
Agglayer, which uses zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, creates a unified user experience across networks while maintaining privacy. This enables the development of advanced financial and gaming applications.
Initial participants include:
- Privado ID: fully graduated, plans to airdrop 5% of its tokens
- Miden: nearing graduation, will airdrop 10% of its tokens
- A stealth DeFi chain: set to airdrop 15% of its tokens
Snapshots for airdrop eligibility will start next week. Stakers can participate by staking POL starting Wednesday.
