Robinhood Adds Solana-Based Memecoins Moo Deng and MEW for Trading
Robinhood has introduced two new Solana-based memecoins for U.S. customers:
- Moo Deng (MOODENG): Market cap at $230 million, increased by 836% in May and up 21% in the last 24 hours.
- Cat in a dog’s world (MEW): Market cap at $368 million, rose 52% in May and nearly 20% in the past 24 hours.
These additions expand Robinhood's cryptocurrency offerings to over 20 tokens. This follows the addition of Pepe coin (PEPE) in November and comes amid a more favorable regulatory environment following pro-crypto leadership changes.
