Overview of Squad Game
Squad Game is an on-chain game inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game, developed by Send Arcade. Described by Magic Eden, it is an interactive survival game where players compete against 455 others over three weeks for a significant prize. As players are eliminated, the prize pool increases. Magic Eden noted:
“It’s an interactive survival game, where you compete with 455 other players across 3 weeks to win the grand prize of [redacted]. Players will keep getting eliminated and the prize pool keeps increasing.”
Season 1 Structure
The first season mirrored the Squid Game series format. Players selected symbols, with the least popular becoming the "Death Symbol." In subsequent rounds, gameplay involved passing an "Elimination NFT" within squads to avoid disqualification, minting real and fake NFTs, and bribing from the prize pool for eliminations. The final round was a Rock, Paper, Scissors match to determine the winner.
It is unclear if Season 2 will replicate the first season's structure or incorporate new elements.
