The upgrade introduces a new consensus protocol to enhance transaction finality and network efficiency.
Votor will reduce transaction finality times from over 12 seconds to approximately 150 milliseconds.
Rotor, set for a future rollout, will decrease data transfers between validators.
This milestone aims to improve speed, resilience, and scalability within the Solana ecosystem.
