Trump’s World Liberty Financial Invests Millions in Ethereum, AAVE, and LINK

World Liberty Financial (WLF), associated with US President-elect Donald Trump, has invested over $10 million in Ethereum (ETH), $1 million in Aave (AAVE), and $1 million in Chainlink (LINK). This investment led to significant price increases for AAVE and LINK. On December 11, the fund acquired approximately $10 million in ETH, $1 million in AAVE, and $1 million in LINK, verified through Etherscan and reported by Lookonchain.

The total purchases over the past 12 days amount to around $30 million in USDC, securing more than 8,000 ETH at an average price of $3,701.

AAVE's price increased by approximately 31% within 24 hours, while LINK rose by about 23.5%. The surge followed WLF’s decision to integrate Chainlink's technology for on-chain data and cross-chain interoperability, which aims to enhance its protocol ecosystem.

WLF plans to implement Chainlink Price Feeds on the Ethereum mainnet and deploy a version of Aave's v3 instance, pending governance approval. In October, WLF proposed deploying its own Aave v3 environment, confirmed by Aave founder Stani Kulechov as a segregated version tied to separate, KYC-compliant front-ends.

This initiative allows WLF to utilize the largest smart contract-compatible public blockchain while adhering to strict compliance requirements, initially limiting participation to accredited investors in the United States.

AAVE has increased by roughly 138% over the last five weeks, recently trading above the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $356.84. If this level holds, potential targets include $430.29, $534.87, and the all-time high from May 2021 at $668.

Chainlink also experienced strong performance, gaining over 175% in five weeks. Its critical resistance level is now at the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement at $28.88. A decisive break above this could lead to targets of $34.57, $42.67, and potentially the all-time high of $53.

At press time, LINK traded at $27.67.
