Virtune Lists Finland’s First Crypto ETPs on Nasdaq Helsinki

Virtune will launch Finland's first crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) on Nasdaq Helsinki, enhancing investment options for Finnish investors in their local currency. This marks a significant milestone as five crypto ETPs are introduced simultaneously, making it the largest launch of its kind in the Nordics.

Key points:

  • Finland’s €20.5 billion ETP market is now open to crypto investments.
  • Investors can trade ETPs in euros through Nordic financial institutions.
  • Includes regulated staked ETPs with staking rewards incorporated into daily pricing.
  • Products launched: Bitcoin ETP, Staked Ethereum ETP, XRP ETP, Staked Solana ETP, and Crypto Altcoin Index ETP.

Virtune CEO Christopher Kock emphasized the importance of these euro-denominated listings as a step toward broader crypto adoption in the Nordics.

Nasdaq aims to expand its European presence, currently holding a 23% market share. Henrik Husman, President of Nasdaq Helsinki, highlighted the transparency and opportunity provided by ETP products.

Virtune manages $310 million in assets and serves over 110,000 investors.
