Zerocap Partners with CoinDesk Indices for Australia’s First Crypto Options Products
Australian digital assets market maker Zerocap has partnered with CoinDesk Indices to launch Australia's first options-based structured products based on the CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20) at Consensus Hong Kong.
The partnership aims to provide:
- Options for risk-managed exposure to a broader range of digital assets beyond bitcoin and ether
- Features like downside protection, volatility management, and yield enhancement
- A response to increasing demand for scalable institutional-grade cryptocurrency products
The CD20 Index has increased by 456% over the past five years, offering a diversified alternative to traditional bitcoin-ether portfolios.
Mark Hiriart from Zerocap noted that this initiative introduces sophisticated investment strategies to the crypto market. Alan Campbell from CoinDesk Indices emphasized the importance of catering to the demand for diversified digital asset exposure.
