AgriFORCE Launches Bitcoin Mining Site in Alberta, Aiming for 1 EH/s Expansion

AgriFORCE Growing Systems (AGRI) has launched its first bitcoin mining site in Berwyn, Alberta, utilizing stranded natural gas to power 120 mining machines.

The facility delivers over 32 petahashes per second (PH/s) of compute power with a current draw of 425 kW.
A planned second phase will increase capacity by an additional 200 kW.
BlueFlare Energy developed the site, implementing systems for emissions monitoring and carbon tracking.
Using flared gas for bitcoin mining helps mitigate energy costs amid industry margin pressures.
This initiative is part of AgriFORCE's strategy to mine bitcoin, build modular infrastructure, and monetize energy directly.
A binding agreement with BlueFlare will expand operations to two more sites in Alberta, potentially adding 1.3 MW of compute power.
AgriFORCE has mined seven BTC at its Alberta and Ohio locations and plans to retain up to half of its holdings for operational growth.
The goal is to reach 1 exahash per second (EH/s) of compute capacity by Q1 2026.
