Amber International Secures $25.5 Million to Enhance $100 Million Crypto Reserve
Amber International Holding (AMBR) raised $25.5 million in a private placement to expand its $100 million Crypto Ecosystem Reserve aimed at supporting blockchain networks. Key details include:
- The placement was priced at $10.45 per share, a 5% discount to the average trading price.
- Investors included Pantera Capital, CMAG Funds, and Kingkey Financial International.
- Over 12 million Class A shares were issued, equivalent to about 2.44 million ADSs on Nasdaq.
Since its launch earlier this year, the reserve has invested in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. It will now also cover Binance Coin, XRP, and Sui.
Amber aims to partner with developers and protocols for capital and liquidity support, responding to institutional demand for real-world asset tokenization and applications like AgentFi.
This funding reflects a trend of crypto firms enhancing treasury strategies amid cautious venture capital environments.
