BitBasel Miami Art Week 2024 Scheduled for December 3 to 8
South Beach Bound
BitBasel will occupy the Sagamore Hotel in Miami South Beach for the week of December 3 to December 8, 2024. The last BitBasel event I attended was in 2019 at the Miami Bitcoin Center. My keynote then predicted themes relevant to this year's exhibition. This return highlights ongoing challenges in the ETH space and the necessity of revisiting fundamentals.
Special thanks to Lecks and Scarlett for including my work in the 2024 show.
Back to the Future
Lecture on decentralization from 2019 at BitBasel
In my 2019 presentation, I discussed issues like the failing monetary system, creativity's origins, and AI's impact on jobs. I also critiqued the art world’s decline, which has only continued. My current piece integrates these reflections, addressing Western societal challenges and advocating revitalization through art.
I’m Potency
I’m Potency features a physical canvas print augmented with AR animation.
This artwork is priced at 6 ETH.
BitRam!
The live version NFT of BitRam reimagines Bitcoin's animal lore. It includes a physical, hand-finished canvas that activates an AR version via the Artivive app, priced at 9 ETH.
BitRam physical re-paint (sold 1/3) displayed earlier in Switzerland.
Renaissance 360
A compilation video featuring metaverse content from Asvoria, Superworld, and Cornerstone Land will be presented. This aims to inspire discussions about excellence and beauty in art amidst contemporary challenges.
