Bitcoin Network Hashrate Increased 1% to 785 EH/s in January

The Bitcoin network hashrate increased by 1% in January, reaching an average of 785 exahashes per second (EH/s), according to JPMorgan's report. Mining difficulty decreased by 2% month-on-month.

The weekly moving average hashrate was 781 EH/s, a 2% decline from December.
Network difficulty remains 25% higher than before the halving event in April.
Bitcoin's 7-day moving average hashrate reached an all-time high of 833 EH/s.
Mining profitability rose slightly, with miners earning $57,200 per EH/s in daily block reward revenue, up less than 1% from December.
The total market cap of tracked bitcoin miners increased by 5% from the previous month.
Cipher Mining gained 23% and Riot Platforms 16%, while TeraWulf shares dropped 16% in January.
