Bitcoin Network Hashrate Increased 1% to 785 EH/s in January
The Bitcoin network hashrate increased by 1% in January, reaching an average of 785 exahashes per second (EH/s), according to JPMorgan's report. Mining difficulty decreased by 2% month-on-month.

- Mining profitability rose slightly, with miners earning $57,200 per EH/s in daily block reward revenue, up less than 1% from December.
- The total market cap of tracked bitcoin miners increased by 5% from the previous month.
