Brevan Howard Reports $2.3 Billion Investment in BlackRock Bitcoin ETF

Brevan Howard disclosed a $2.30 billion stake in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF on August 15, representing over 20% of its portfolio. This disclosure coincided with a decline in Bitcoin's price, which fell to $117,000 from an all-time high of $124,500.

The hedge fund submitted its Q2 Form 13F to the SEC, revealing three entries for the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF totaling $2.26 billion, $32.86 million, and $24.48 million. It also reported an $800,000 investment in the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $177,400 after recovering from a low of $116,800.
This crash caused over $1 billion in liquidations across the crypto market.
