Metaplanet (3350) reported full-year 2024 financial results, showing an unrealized gain of approximately $36 million (5.46 billion yen) on 1,761 BTC acquired for $137 million.

Shareholder base increased by 500% to 50,000 in 2024.
Plans to increase bitcoin holdings through:

Debt issuance via secured bonds and convertible bonds.
Equity issuance through private placement and preference shares.

Aims to acquire 10,000 BTC by end of 2025 and 21,000 BTC by end of 2026.
Funding through issuing 21 million shares in moving strike warrants.
Shares rose 8% on Monday and 64% year to date.
