Metaplanet has acquired 1,111 bitcoin for $117 million at an average price of approximately $105,681 per BTC. The purchase occurred amid a market decline triggered by geopolitical events, with bitcoin prices dropping to lows of $98,000 over the weekend.

Currently, bitcoin is trading above $101,000. This acquisition brings Metaplanet's total holdings to 11,111 bitcoin, valued at over $1.1 billion, with an average cost basis of $95,700 per BTC.
