Metaplanet Now Fourth Largest Bitcoin Treasury Company with 30,823 BTC
Metaplanet has become the fourth largest Bitcoin treasury company, acquiring 5,288 BTC for $615.67 million at an average price of $116,870 per bitcoin.
Total holdings are now 30,823 BTC, valued at $3.33 billion with an average acquisition price of $107,912 per bitcoin.
The company's Bitcoin Income Generation segment reported Q3 revenue of $16.16 million, a 115.7% increase from Q2 2025.
FY2025 consolidated guidance has been revised:
Revenue: $46.26M (previous: $23.13M)
Operating profit: $31.97M (previous: $17.01M)
This reflects a 100% increase in revenue and an 88% increase in operating profit compared to prior forecasts.
CEO Simon Gerovich stated that Q3 results demonstrate operational scalability, supporting the planned issuance of Metaplanet preferred shares.
Metaplanet shares fell by 10% to 516 yen during Wednesday’s trading session.
