Trump Media Files for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF and Launches Trump Mobile

Trump Media & Technology Group is expanding into crypto and telecom markets. The company has filed with the SEC to register a Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, proposing to allocate 75% of assets to Bitcoin and 25% to Ethereum, with direct custody of tokens.

ETF Details

The ETF aims to list on NYSE Arca under an agreement with Yorkville America Digital.
Crypto.com will act as the sole custodian and provide staking and liquidity services for Ethereum.
Approval is uncertain due to past rejections of spot crypto ETF proposals over market manipulation concerns.

Trump Mobile Launch

At a media event, Trump introduced “Trump Mobile,” a smartphone priced at $499, accompanied by a monthly service plan of $47.45. The device will launch in September, supported by existing carrier networks.

The phone features 5G capability and includes bundled services like telemedicine, international texting, and roadside assistance.
Customer support will be handled through US call centers.
Trademark applications cover telecom services under the Trump brand.
