What is Honey?

1Hive is a DAO that issues and distributes a digital currency called Honey.
Honey holders stake on proposals using Conviction Voting to determine how issuance is distributed. By supporting proposals which increase the value of Honey, a positive feedback loop drives growth and sustainability.

Conviction Voting allows everyone to participate and shape the direction of 1Hive, while preventing anyone from taking control or ownership.

How to add Honey to Metamask?

To add HNY to the metamask you need:

  1. In the wallet select the desired network and then in the cryptocurrencies section scroll to the bottom - click "Import tokens".
  2. Copy the smart contract address for Honey from the list below.
  3. Paste into the "Smart Contract Address" field.
  4. Click the "Add Custom Token" button.
