Altcoins ETH, XRP, and DOGE Surge as Bitcoin Dominance Declines

Altcoin Season Alert: Golden Cross Suggests Gains

A "golden cross" pattern has emerged for altcoins, indicating a potential upward trend. The last occurrence during the 2021 bull run saw altcoins rise by 28,000%, raising speculation of similar performance in 2025.

Bitcoin is consolidating around $103,500, while Ethereum has risen another 9% to approximately $2,690, marking over 45% weekly gains. Analysts suggest that if Ethereum surpasses $3,000, it could pave the way for further rallies towards $4,000.

XRP is also performing well, up 3.5% to $2.58, with weekly gains exceeding 20%. On-chain data indicates key support at $2.38, which may stabilize its price.

Dogecoin has bounced back by 6% to $0.238, accumulating weekly gains of more than 37.5%.

Bitcoin Dominance Faces Drop

Bitcoin dominance recently faced a sharp decline after a rally in ETH/BTC pairs. Should altcoin/BTC pairs remain resilient, Bitcoin dominance might test range lows near 60%, providing opportunities for altcoins.
