Bitdeer Expands Self-Mining Capacity and Ships 1.6 EH/s of SEALMINER A2s
Bitdeer (BTDR) increased its self-mining capacity and expanded operations in May.
- Mined 196 BTC, an 18% increase from April
- Proprietary hashrate reached 13.6 EH/s, boosted by 3.9 EH/s from SEALMINER A1 machines
- Shipped 1.6 EH/s of SEALMINER A2 units to external customers
- In Norway, 70 MW of a planned 175 MW expansion is online; remaining 105 MW expected by end of June
- Jigmeling site in Bhutan began energization; 368 MW planned for total of 500 MW
- Massillon, Ohio facility on track for phased completion in the second half of the year
- Preparing a 50 MW site in Ethiopia with local partner
- Secured property in Alberta, Canada for a natural gas power plant
- Tether provided $50 million in exchange for over 5 million shares
- Targeting 40 EH/s in self-mining capacity by October
