Ledger Launches Crypto Life Visa Card in the U.S. Offering 1% Cashback
Ledger has introduced its Crypto Life (CL) Visa card in the U.S., offering:
- 1% cashback in bitcoin or USDC on purchases
- Direct paycheck deposits into the on-chain card account via bank transfer
The CL card is powered by Baanx, which also supports crypto cards for MetaMask, Tools for Humanity, and Exodus. Major networks like Mastercard and Visa are increasingly engaging with self-custodial crypto solutions due to the growth of stablecoin payments.
Data indicates that household purchases accounted for 63% of CL card transactions, with entertainment and fashion experiencing notable growth.
Availability: The CL Card launches on June 30, 2025, in the U.S., excluding New York and Vermont.
