- Tether's USDT leads the market with a $173 billion market cap, primarily backed by U.S. Treasuries. Tether reported $4.9 billion in profits for Q2 2025.
- Circle's USDC, the second-largest stablecoin, exceeded $70 billion in market cap and saw its stock price jump after going public.
- Tether plans to enter the U.S. market with a new dollar token, USAT, complying with the GENIUS Act, the first federal crypto law in the U.S.
