Nobitex, an Iranian crypto exchange, suffered a loss of $82 million due to a cyberattack attributed to the hacker group Gonjeshke Darande. The breach involved theft from the Tron Network and other Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains.

- 55 million USDT
- 39.41 million DOGE ($6.72 million)
- 255.65 billion PEPE ($2.61 million)
- 18.47 BTC ($1.94 million)
- The attackers utilized a "vanity address" for the exploit, leading to unusual outflows from Nobitex wallets.
- Nobitex confirmed that the incident affected only a portion of hot wallet assets; user funds are secure in cold storage.
- Gonjeshke Darande claims Nobitex facilitates Iranian regime activities and threatened to release internal data unless their demands were met.
Nobitex has suspended access to its platform following the discovery of unauthorized access and is investigating the incident.
