BNB Chain now handles the most stablecoin transactions by count. Small-value transfers drive the lead.

BNB Chain processes about 40% of global stablecoin transactions while holding only 5% of supply. Low fees and fast blocks push velocity through DeFi apps like PancakeSwap and Venus.

On monthly unique senders, Dune shows BNB Chain led February with 15.1M. It topped peers including:
- Tron at 8.8M
- Ethereum at 5.4M
- Solana at 4.8M
- Arbitrum at 2.5M
- Base at 2.1M

Per NewsBTC, BNB Smart Chain grew stablecoin activity 133% YoY. Its stablecoin market cap doubled to $14B at the 2025 peak and hit a $21.7B single-day transfer high. It also led in daily active users.

Retail flows dominate. Forbes notes fiat-pegged tokens act as parallel currencies in crisis economies. The Orbital Stablecoin Premium/Discount Index shows a 16.35% buy premium in MENA in Q4 2025.

Small transfers surged. NewsBTC reports sub-$10k transfers jumped from 316M to 3.2B in 2025. On BNB Chain, 82% of transfers are under $1k and 99% under $10k, with average fees near $0.05. Two-thirds of merchant stablecoin payments come from exchange accounts. Over half of users in emerging markets onboarded via Binance or OKX.
