Seeker and Firedancer Set to Launch Solana Products in 2025
If Solana investors shift focus from AI coins, they will find several notable products expected to launch in 2025.
Upcoming Solana Product Launches
Shipping dates are subject to delays, but the following Solana products are anticipated:
- Solana Mobile’s Seeker phone
- Jump Crypto’s Firedancer client
- Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePINs)
- Crypto wearable technology
- Jito’s restaking platform
Solana Seeker Phone
The Solana Seeker, the second mobile phone by Solana Mobile, is expected to launch in mid-2025. It is developed under Solana Labs, led by co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal. The Seeker has attracted numerous teams to its dApp store and offers potential token airdrops, similar to the previous Solana phone, which had lucrative results. Currently priced at $500, the Seeker has received 145,000 pre-orders.
Firedancer Client
Firedancer, a validator client developed by Jump Crypto, is designed for Solana network validators to process transactions and build the blockchain. Its development began in 2022, and it was revealed to be live during the Solana Breakpoint conference in September 2024. Currently operating in non-voting mode, its full rollout timeline remains uncertain.
DePIN Projects
Despite a decline in interest within the DePIN sector, DAWN, a decentralized internet service provider, is set to launch on mainnet in 2025. Jito's restaking platform is also expected to launch soon.
Fitness Technology
Pulse, a fitness tracking bracelet connected to Solana, aims to ship products in Q1. Additionally, a new version of Cudis’ Solana smart ring has started shipping, though there have been reports of rusting issues with the first iteration.
