The decline has stretched for three months, continuing into the weekend as noted here.
Shibarium is the weak link. The token’s performance tracks Layer-2 activity per prior coverage.

Daily transactions fell from millions to thousands. Over the past 24 hours, Shibarium processed ~1,230 tx, with a 557-tx low on April 4 per Shibariumscan.
The network recently ran a full backend reindex, which may have temporarily slowed throughput according to this update.
Derivatives point to fading interest. Open interest sits at $54.25M, down 16% from ~$65.23M a month ago and 63% below January’s ~$145.40M, based on Coinglass figures cited in the report.
Exchange flows tilt bearish. Net inflows reached +6.9B SHIB over the past 24 hours per CryptoQuant, with recent spikes up to 39B SHIB in a day reported here.
Pressure is sector-wide. Meme coin market cap stands near $34B, down from a YTD high above $109.7B per CoinGecko.
