Twelve SWIFT pilot banks partner with Ripple; analyst highlights XRP global adoption
X Finance Bull says XRP adoption is global and growing. He ties 12 of SWIFT’s 30 blockchain-pilot banks to Ripple partners.
He shares holder distribution by region in an X post:
- Asia-Pacific 35–40%, avg ~4,200 XRP, used for remittances and trading
- North America 25–30%, avg ~1,850 XRP, shifting to institutions; demand rose after “XRP ETFs” last year per Bitcoinist
- Europe 20–25%, avg ~2,100 XRP, held for diversification
- Latin America 8–12%, mainly cross-border payments per Bitcoinist
He argues the token solves different problems in different regions. “Global utility doesn’t stay undervalued forever,” he writes (source).
Bull thesis: 12 of the 30 banks working with SWIFT on a blockchain shared ledger are confirmed Ripple partners, via payment networks, custody, steering groups, or consortia. He calls this the inflection he was waiting for (X post; SWIFT pilot coverage via Bitcoinist). He adds regulation and infrastructure are aligning, citing ongoing market-structure moves (Bitcoinist).
Bitcoinist also says Goldman Sachs is the largest holder among XRP ETF investors (source).
Price check: XRP trades near $1.32, down ~2% in 24h (CoinMarketCap).
