US Ethereum ETFs see $29.4M inflows on September 18, led by Fidelity
U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs posted a modest net inflow after three consecutive sessions of redemptions: $29.4 million on September 18, led by Fidelity’s FETH with $26.2 million. Bitwise’s ETHW added $1.3 million and VanEck’s ETHV brought in $1.9 million. Other issuers reported no net change.
Context: Prior Outflows
The inflow follows substantial outflows earlier in the week: $142 million on September 15, $224.1 million on September 16, and $39.3 million on September 17. The $29.4 million rebound recovers a small fraction of those redemptions.
Issuer Breakdown
Fidelity was the main source of creations. BlackRock’s ETHA showed no net flow after contributing to earlier outflows. Flow dispersion suggests issuer-specific activity: portfolio rebalancing, allocator-driven moves, or timing differences between creations and redemptions.
Interpretation
The session indicates continued demand for regulated Ethereum exposure but does not reverse the week’s net outflow trend. Broader inflows across multiple issuers in coming sessions would signal a shift in short-term flow dynamics. Absent that, the uptick may represent a temporary pause within a choppy period.
