XRP repeats 5D bottoming pattern, analyst expects rally to $2.05
Egrag: XRP repeats 5D bottoming setup; April 16 window, $1.15 key level
A historic bottoming pattern has reappeared on XRP’s 5‑day chart. Analyst Egrag Crypto says this blueprint preceded the 2022 bottom and a trend reversal.
Egrag flagged the “5D Bottoming Blueprint” on March 29. He notes the same sequence is forming again now on X. The pattern has marked bottoms before and kicked off renewed upside per NewsBTC, despite ongoing bearish pressure and volatility per Bitcoinist.
The setup has two phases. First, the 21 EMA crosses above the 200 EMA. Then a sharp corrective pullback sets the floor per Bitcoinist.
In mid‑2022, the 21/200 cross appeared. A ~14.66% drawdown followed over four 5‑day bars, roughly 20 days. That sequence set the market bottom and ended the bear phase, starting a sustained uptrend per NewsBTC.
Today, the 21 EMA has again crossed above the 200 EMA. XRP has already corrected ~14%, matching 2022’s magnitude per Egrag. The bar count aligns with four bars, implying a potential low in ~20 calendar days. Egrag marks April 16 as the decision window on X.
Key levels are set. $1.15 is the primary bottoming target for the current move per Bitcoinist. If $1.15 breaks, support sits near $0.93. A deeper floor may form around $0.73. Persistent bearish momentum could send price to the white trendline near $0.42 per NewsBTC.
After a bottom, Egrag expects a bullish reversal. First, reclaim $1.60 to confirm the end of the corrective phase per Bitcoinist. Then a move toward $2.05. A clean break above $2.05 would confirm broader expansion, opening a path toward $3.02 and higher per Bitcoinist.
