XRP 1-year MVRV plunges to -41%, lowest since FTX crash
Santiment says 1Y holders of XRP are deep in loss. Its MVRV metric has fallen into the “Opportunity Zone.”
- Santiment’s chart shows 30D and 1Y MVRV both negative. Recent buyers are underwater according to the firm’s post.
- The 1Y cohort sits near a 41% average loss, the lowest since December 2022, when markets bottomed after the FTX collapse per Santiment and contemporaneous coverage.
- Santiment labels this an “Opportunity Zone,” noting “significantly negative average returns … imply that there is much lower risk than average” as many traders are already in heavy loss source.
- It’s unclear if this marks a bottom or if bearish pressure persists background on MVRV.
