What is RepoRank?

RepoRank is a real-time discovery and ranking platform focused on surfacing trending GitHub repositories, emerging products, and fast-growing internet projects. The platform helps developers, founders, and early adopters discover projects gaining traction through development activity, community engagement, and user interaction.

Users can submit either a GitHub repository or a product website URL, after which RepoRank automatically generates a live listing enriched with publicly available data and metadata. Repository data is synced directly through the GitHub API and updated in near real time, while product listings are enriched using website and platform activity data.

RepoRank maintains a single canonical listing for each repository or product, preventing duplicate pages and consolidating visibility, engagement, boosts, and ranking activity into one profile.

The platform also includes verification and claiming systems that allow repository maintainers and product owners to manage their listings. Claimed listings unlock features such as editable profiles, promotional tools, leaderboard participation, and SEO-related functionality.
