What is UR?

UR is a decentralised peer to peer privacy network built on Bittensor Subnet 25. The network routes encrypted internet traffic through connections provided by independent participants around the world, with privacy as the default rather than an opt-in setting.

- URnetwork VPN is the first product running on the network.
- Traffic is encrypted end to end, and routing is distributed so that no single node on the network sees both who a user is and what they are doing.
- The protocol is open source, and the network is coordinated through onchain incentives on Bittensor.

SN25 is the subnet token of Subnet 25, distributed through Bittensor's subnet emission mechanism.

How to add UR to Metamask?

To add SN25 to the metamask you need:

  1. In the wallet select the desired network and then in the cryptocurrencies section scroll to the bottom - click "Import tokens".
  2. Copy the smart contract address for UR from the list below.
  3. Paste into the "Smart Contract Address" field.
  4. Click the "Add Custom Token" button.
