Binance top traders increase Dogecoin longs as accounts ratio hits 3.63

Binance’s top accounts are piling into Dogecoin (DOGE) longs while price stays muted. The 24h long/short ratio hit 3.63; the positions ratio rose to 2.52.

Verified CryptoQuant author CW flagged the build-up and shared charts on X. Amidst the current sluggish trend, Binance top traders are increasing their long positions on DOGE. Source and charts are here: CW’s post on X.

By 02:00 on April 20, 78.4% of top-trader accounts were long versus 21.6% short. On size, 71.61% of positions were long and 28.39% short. Same link: CW’s post.

The 4h view matches the trend. The accounts ratio climbed toward ~3.7 and the positions ratio toward ~2.4 in recent sessions, per CW’s charts. See CW’s post.

What the ratios mean. The accounts ratio shows how many top traders are net long or short. The positions ratio tracks how much capital sits on each side. Both rising together signals bigger aggregate long exposure, not just more bulls.

Why this matters for price. Top traders appear to be positioning for upside before spot confirms a trend, as noted by NewsBTC. Existing long bias can amplify momentum if the market turns higher, per this analysis.

But there’s no guarantee of a breakout. Crowded longs can unwind if fresh spot demand doesn’t show or if the market softens, as prior levels and risks highlight.

At press time, DOGE traded at $0.09489.
