Bitcoin hits resistance at $75,000 as exchange inflows spike
$75K stalls Bitcoin; 6,100 BTC hit exchanges in an hour
Bitcoin ran into resistance at $75,000. On-chain realized-price bands capped the move, as warned by analysts.
The lower band of the traders’ on-chain Realized Price sits near $75,000. It has acted as a ceiling in past drawdowns, and it’s doing it again, said CryptoQuant’s Julio Moreno here.
On March 16, hourly inflows to centralized exchanges jumped to 6,100 BTC. Large deposits made up over 60% of that — the biggest share since mid-October 2025. Historically, such spikes signal rising sell pressure, Moreno noted in the same report.

Momentum cooled right at the wall. Bitcoin rose about 12% in March and touched a six-week high near $76,000 on March 17, before stalling.
Macro adds pressure. The Fed decides rates Wednesday. Futures imply a 98.9% chance of no change and 1.1% odds of a hike, per market tracking cited in Barron’s live coverage. Reports suggest the Fed could guide to no cuts in 2026 due to persistent inflation and geopolitical shocks, a setup that typically weighs on risk assets.
There’s a higher hurdle ahead. The full Realized Price for active traders is near $84,700, a level that capped rallies in October and January per CryptoQuant.
