Bitcoin retests $69k–$70k after a 5% jump. Analysts say two-month consolidation could resolve within weeks, with targets above $72k or back to $65k.

Bitcoin (BTC) rose 5% Monday from Sunday’s lows, touching a key area for the first time in April. The coin has ranged between $62k–$74k for two months, last hitting the top end in late March (NewsBTC).

Trader Ted Pillows expects a push to $72k–$74k if $69k–$70k is reclaimed (X).

A rejection points to $65k–$66k, where price held last month. Ali Martinez says URPD shows BTC is “stuck in a ‘No-Trade Zone,’” with a large holder cluster at $70,685–$63,111 that “creates a natural floor” while price trades there (X).

Max Crypto sees “decision time” near. Based on past cycles, he expects the next big move by mid-April, likely to the downside (NewsBTC).

Bitcoin price action

Key supports and “line in the sand”
- Nine-year ascending trendline support sits near $60k and $56k. Martinez calls it the strongest floor since 2017, with prior retests preceding parabolic runs (NewsBTC).
- CVDD near $47,960, MVRV 0.8 band around $43,647, and the LTH Realized Price at $49,387 are Martinez’s high-probability accumulation markers and often the final support zones (X) (NewsBTC).
- A drop below LTH Realized Price could signal capitulation. Martinez flags the -0.2 Std Dev band near $36,657 as “Generational Buy” territory (NewsBTC).

Trading map in the near term
- Reclaim $69k–$70k: path to $72k–$74k (X).
- Reject $69k–$70k: retest $66k–$65k support; broader support at $60k–$56k trendline (NewsBTC).
